Madeline's tenure as a newspaper photographer and reporter sparked a love for the candid and unexpected, after years of being a fly on the wall for countless events, classroom visits and newsworthy moments. Westberg Photo & Media focuses less on posing and staging, and more on observing. We catch you in your moments of joy and connection with others, just as you are. We value truth and authenticity, and sometimes the true moments are more meaningful than the perfect-looking ones.

MEET madeline
Photographer, journalist, musician, artist, loving aunt, extrovert and Madison native
I'm a lifelong Madison resident who loves documenting the world and making art. After 8 years working as a news reporter, photographer and editor, I set out on my own to bring my love of immortalizing moments large and small to my own photography, journalism and storytelling business. When I'm not behind the camera, I'm usually onstage singing in Madison's premiere throwback cover band Star 67, trying a new local IPA, making art or playing with my precious niece and nephew.

We work to make sure our clients are enjoying our sessions, not worried about what their face looks like, and as calm as you can be in front of the camera.
